SOME OF THE STYLES OF CLASSES OFFERED

GENTLE CLASS for Women  (75 minutes)
Incorporating slow and steady movements to build strength, balance, stronger bones, and improved well-being.  Perfect for a beginner, older adult, or someone who prefers a slower paced and personally adaptable style of yoga.  One regular open spot available.  Check in for occasional openings depending on attendance.

CHAIR CLASS  (75 minutes)  Day and time to be determined.
We move our bodies in beneficial ways while seated on the chair or standing next to it and using it for support.  Incorporating slow and steady movements to build strength, balance, stronger bones, and improved well-being.  Perfect for a beginner, older adult, or someone who prefers a slower paced and personally adaptable style of yoga.

RESTORE, RELAX, & BE WELL CLASS  (75 minutes) Offered occasionally depending on public interest.
In this class we make use of bolsters, blankets, yoga blocks, and sometimes also the wall or chair to comfortably sink and settle into gentle supportive poses and hold them for a few minutes (10-15) so our minds and bodies are given the time to slow down, de-stress, and relax.  Restorative yoga brings balance and ease to the body, mind, and soul.  Perfect for a beginner, older adult, or someone who prefers a slower paced and personally adaptable style of yoga.

"DEEP STRETCH" YIN CLASS (75 minutes) Day and time to be determined.
A cooling and quiet practice of stillness and awareness in which appropriately related poses are held for a few minutes (2-10) in order to specifically work and strengthen the connective tissues, joints, and bones of the body.  Most poses are done seated, lying down, closer to the mat, or at the wall.  This practice is not used for the specific effect of stretching the muscles, but it *feels* like a deep stretch.  All levels class honoring each individual's body and ability.

DEEP RELAXATION YOGA (Nidra)  (60 minutes) Day and time to be determined.
A practice of relaxation and creation keeping mind alert and aware while the body rests and sleeps.  We start with breath work and some very gentle moving and stretching and subsequently find stillness in a most comfortable lying down position.  I will guide you through the setting of a personal intention (sankalpa), relaxation, and a body scan and mental visualization technique which will have immense personal benefits.  All levels class.

GROUP MEDITATION  (45-60 minutes) Offered occasionally depending on public interest.  Perfect for anyone new to meditation or experienced.  We will gather together in a seated circle, set a meditation intention, have a guided and silent meditation time, Q&A, contemplation, and optional personal sharing of the experience.
